ABOUT
I’m Scott. I have been a lover of exploring the outdoors for as long as I can remember. Starting from childhood and gradually growing older and more adventurous. I have been fortunate enough to climb, hike and camp across the UK and beyond; with multiple expeditions in Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, Nepal and Iceland.

I have been involved with the scouts and worked as a firefighter and frontline medical responder for nearly ten years, with several years' experience as a workplace instructor where I have developed a keen interest in teaching and empowering people with new skills and confidence.

I work in all areas of the UK; walking, scrambling, climbing, camping, navigation. From guiding you on your first steps in the mountains to teaching you the skills you will need to progress your own mountaineering journey it would be a privilege to help you along the way with your adventures.

 I booked a 2 day guided course with Scott and had the most amazing time! I asked him for 2 things: - to guide me on my first grade one scramble, because I have a massive fear of heights - to teach me some navigation He did not disappoint! He choose the perfect route for my scramble and gave me the confidence I needed to get through it. I did more than I expected I could do! He guided me through every difficult moment, stayed close, gave me some tips and tricks on how to do the ridge. I did Sharp Edge btw 😁 Second day I had a navigation course with him and be explains it all so well! He guides you through it and by the end I was able to find a route to navigate us back. Thank you Scott for two amazing days! I'm feeling more confident and capable and will definitely book again! Good luck with everything

 I spent a couple of days with Scott in North Wales in September 24. Day 1 involved some climbing / abseiling. I was a complete novice, so I didn't really know what to expect. Scott was very patient and encouraging. Talked me through every stage of the setup and equipment, which certainly gave me confidence. I feel like the area chosen by Scott was perfect, and the climbing was challenging but achievable. I absolutely loved the experience and am looking forward to climbing again in the near future. Day 2 involved an 11 mile looped hike peaking at the top of Carnedd Llewelyn. The weather was typically Welsh as we had pretty much every weather possible. Scott had lots of interesting facts about the local area and his personal experiences. Scott has a real passion for the outdoors, which clearly shines through. If you would like to experience an outdoor adventure with a calm, patient, and experienced instructor, then I would highly recommend.
